JakeL is a one-man instrumental post-sludge metal / post rock project from Montreal in Canada.
JakeL’s first release in September 2011 was the EP Shelter, offered through his Bandcamp site. His full-length follow-up, The Baltic Sea, was released in November 2012. The Baltic Sea showed progression from his EP release, although the metal elements were perhaps less apparent than on the debut.
