Quite unusual to have a glam-fused party band from Germany, a land that's famous with heavy and power metal, but NASTY BULLETZ proved that Sunset Strip influences did reach their homeland. What I like here is that they put a rich variety of musical structure and doesn't sound samey like most of other bands that like to stick only with a single formula.
'Really Gonna Rock' is a massive starter, but 'Deal With The Devil' really clinch the victory. Such an impeccable hard rock track with a splendid riffs and brilliant chorus. Perhaps only 'Loaded Gun' and 'Keep Breaking My Heart' are close enough to match the awesomeness of that track. There are several plodder such as 'Make Me Stay' which is a filler ballad or 'First Strike' that didn't steal much attention.
I also gotta give credit to the solid musicianship. Very nice vocal delivery and also highly smooth guitar playing there. Thanks to the non-linear arrangement, this whole disc doesn't sound repetitive hence the high point on the replay value. Production is also very good and don't forget to spike up the volume on other great stuffs such as 'Girl Is Mine', 'Right Between The Eyes', and 'Got To Do It Tonight'.
Surprisingly, this one's an entertaining record and recommended if you dig glam in the first place!
