After several delightful spins, I gladly verify the claim that they're a modern mix of DEF LEPPARD and BON JOVI is true. Some tracks will even remind you to the glorious days of stadium rock such as 'Steal Away' or 'Let's Go Round'. I'm pleased to see many young bands still support the music from the decade that I think is the best in human's history, and if Finnish has RECKLESS LOVE, Swedish has CRAZY LIXX, then British should be proud they have SUMMERS.
The first two tracks are instant hits! 'Superhero' is highly potential to become a major media success if released in 1988, but there are more tracks that even better like the ballad, 'Too Late' and 'Let's Make Love', or the energetic tune, 'Told You So', which I think is the best song of the album. Other tracks are very good too like 'Sometimes' and 'Rockmachine'.
The production is good, especially for an independent release. And if I need to compare this album to a classic, I guess the closest thing is DEF LEPPARD's Hysteria, where many commercial tunes as well as rockin' tracks. I'll say it's an excellent effort by the band and hopefully they succeed in bringing up their career and many more will appreciate this album!
