The Truth
Yep, I'm part of the "DaDa is a masterpiece" cult and while it's beyond me what I see in it that others don't, I still love it to pieces.

With DaDa every single aspect of Alice's career is mixed together. All the shock rock, glam rock, new wave with some comedy and great Ezrin production are mixed together to create one heck of an album.

It's theatrical, it's catchy, it's emotional, while there's no completely obvious concept it has the feel of a concept album and all these qualities are what make a great album in my book.

It really is a under-appreciated gem in the Cooper catalog as there was almost no promotion for it because Alice went to rehab practically right after it was finished. Heck, he was having so many alcohol problems he doesn't remember making it.

It's one of those albums with a strange one-time-only element that really emotionally attaches me to it and I really love it.

Solid five stars, no doubt in my mind.
