This album is a fairly decent release by a band that I don't particularly care for.

Let me begin by saying that I really don't like White Lion singer Mike Tramp. His voice can sometimes be painful to listen to, especially on this debut. He completely lacks the power of even mere typical vocalist of the sub-genre and always seems winded and hoarse. But perhaps that may be a certain appeal to his fan base.

Anyway, the poor vocals are almost made up for with the guitar wizardry of Vito Bratta. Bratta is one of the most underrated guitarists of all-time, combining melodic tapping and tremolo with fierce pentatonic licks and screeching harmonics. Despite the great guitar work though, the album is very simple and uninteresting.

To sum things up, this album is a mediocre release by one of my least favorite bands on the scene.
