Warthur
Opening with an (at the time) rare incorporation of synthesiser into Trouble's sound, the band's third album more than makes up for the somewhat underwhelming nature of The Skull and stakes out a powerful and original style for the band. The lyrics take a decidedly depressive turn this time around, without even the consolation of religion to hold back the existential misery, whilst the band benefit from the meatiest production of any of their early albums. I might be going against the accepted wisdom here, but I'd actually say that this is by far the superior of the first three Trouble albums, bringing the development of the band's sound over the past two discs to fruition wonderfully.
