This is more than just Whitesnake, this is David Coverdale meets Steve Vai! It's a match made in Heavy Metal Heaven.

There isn't a single song on this album that I don't absolutely love. Virtuoso guitarist Steve Vai spices up the action here with his signature style, characterized by the natural quirkiness of his soulful playing, which can be heard in his many filler solos. He compliments the rest of the band perfectly, especially David Coverdale, who has never been better. From the opening title track to the symbolic finale of "Sailing Ships", Coverdale sings with the passion and intensity that has immortalized his legacy.

As with anything Whitesnake, this is a (particularly) amazing album that I can listen to over and over again.
