SAINT VITUS — The Walking Dead (review)

Warthur
The last Saint Vitus release before Scott Reagers' first departure from the band consists of two uncharacteristically speedy and up-tempo numbers in the form of Darkness and White Stallions and the long title track, which is slower even than the material on their albums at the time. In all honestly, it's a little too slow - the band don't seem quite comfortable with keeping up (or should that be keeping down?) such a sluggish pace and don't quite fill it with enough of interest to keep my attention. The concurrently released album Hallow's Victim is a better listen, for my money.
