:: About Band
Perc3ption is a metal band of Prog Power Metal that mixes melody, weight, feeling and technique, with letters always elaborate on obscure and controversial issues.
Aiming to create a unique material that could cause different perceptions in the audience, the musicians of Perc3ption used the intuition to develop their compositions from their personal tastes of Progressive Metal, Power Metal, Heavy Metal and influences from metal bands like Dream Theater, Evergrey, Iced Earth, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Circus Maximus, Mindflow and others.

:: Rise - Lyrics
I remember like it was yesterday
Every second of that moment I still feel
A brief goodbye and tears started falling down
You abandoned me, and left me alone in this world
Wait for the sunset regreting the absence
Someday we will meet again
Look to the sunrise feeling the presence
I shall rise and walk forward
Since that day I’ve felt a void
Since then I’ve regreted all
But now I need to live
And take with me what I’ve learned
I’ll never cry again
I’ll make it worth my pain
Death is part of the game of life
No more sorrow, no more weakness
Even not knowing how
There’s always a way to lead our fate
Wait for the sunset regreting the absence
Someday we will meet again
Look to the sunrise feeling the presence shall rise and walk forward
Wait for the sunset regreting the absence
Someday we will meet again
