Paul Laine was recruited by Danger Danger to fill in Ted Poley's shoes when the singer left the band in 1993 and this is the album that impressed them so much. Produced by the infamous Bruce Fairbairn under the label Elektra, this album spanned 9 high-caliber music with a phenomenal energetic vocal.
"We Are The Young", "Heart of America", and "Break Down The Barricades" are the upbeat-anthemic tracks with catchy rhythm while "Is It Love" started slow with the acoustic guitar before breaking off to a powerful rocker, all of them are awesome tracks but the highlight of this album is on "Dorianna", a monster melodic-rock with flashy solos and hooks-galore.
For those who love classic Bon Jovi style with a drop of Journey touch, this record is probably gonna please your ears. Although he has left Danger Danger to manage his own business, Paul Laine will always be remembered as one of the greatest singer with majestic voice ever!
