Black.. Blue.. Both creatures of the same universe. A bell rings, the beginning cometh. Church organs set the mood for this somber song and dance, Hints of normality flick and flutter through the abyssm but for now, there is only sunn. Mists, cloudy spirits possibly show themselves, yearning to be know but yet ignored, by all but the wilful. The trees, some may say, a harbinger of purity, but yet the darkened forests harbor only fear ans sorrow. And it melts.... And it melts.... And he melts.... And we melt... And the ravens fly overhead, watching us from above. waiting. The post comes and goes, and I find myself strangely out of breath. By the sounds of it, something is coming this way. Time ticks slowly by as I wait... and wait... and wait......
and i wait.
A machine runs in the background, but only seems to add to the ambiance. But then, a monster emerges, and the waving blue tides give birth to a behemoth. A dragon, most massive in its size and conquest rules the skies now.
I wrote this review in the same state as i wrote my other sunn reviews. I think sunn is more of an experience than anything, and shuld be treated as such. I really enjoyed the journey that this album took me on, and would recommend it.
