I've only first two albums (and this maxi single/ Ep) of HammerFall, albums (and band) that not conquest me. This release is a maxi single/ Ep that preceded the release of "Legacy Of Kings".

Interesting music, Ok. In my opinion another mix between Helloween, Maiden, Priest, Purple, Rainbow, Warlord... And, in this case, without personal view but with enormous passion. This is important for powermetallers after Grunge days. So HammerFall was one of the fist Power (Classic) Metal revival. But for me without merit, if not for the fact that it preceded many other bands.

Interesting is the cover of Dutch band Picture ("Eternal Dark"), probably the best song in this maxi single/ Ep. This song is extreme melodic, 100% Trad Metal and not Power... or maybe... Fake Power Metal, as too Power (Classic) Metal revival of 90's produce. Also the live version are good, for me, because HammerFall music makes much better live.

Sure "Heading The Call" is a good start with HammerFall, a good band. But nothing more, in my personal view.
